What better way to start the day than with a protein-packed breakfast? Have you ever tried bowlcake? After seeing pancakes over and over again, here's an original recipe to make. It's quick to make, taking less than 5 minutes, and is a small puffed cake cooked in a bowl in the microwave, hence the name "bowl cake".

Bowl cake: a breakfast idea in less than 5 minutes

This simple recipe can be made in a million different ways: With fresh fruit, with oatmealChocolate chips, crushed walnuts or almonds, vanilla extract, sweet or savoury: the possibilities are endless, as long as it's high in protein (for body-builders or athletes who pay attention to their diet) and good for you.

The bowl cake is therefore both a healthy recipe and a quick and easy gourmet recipe that requires no flour or milk (possibly vegetable milk), ideal for those who are lactose intolerant.

This is an ideal protein breakfast for people who don't have time in the morning and above all, you don't have to worry about which ingredients to put first....

Homemade bowl cake

The main ingredients used will be :

  • Egg whites,
  • oatmeal or oat powder,
  • whey protein,
  • slivered almonds,
  • a teaspoon of baking powder and some spices like cinnamon or orange blossom.

You can also add goji berries, raisins and almond powder, flaxseedA crushed or chopped banana or other fruits and berries (blueberries and berries). The possibilities are endless!

    vanilla whey and oat powder
    I replaced the cashew milk with soy milk and added pecans
    dipped in my morning coffee because it was a bit dry, but a killer

    there is an infinite number of possibilities, but as you said in the video, it is really to be consumed immediately, otherwise it dries out and is inedible
