How to do the Lying Pelvic Lift on the ground?

The pool lift is an exercise for the abdominals relatively easy to execute.

How do you do the exercise?

Simply lie down on the floor, arms along the body, hands placed palm down near the pelvis.

Stretch the legs upwards then lift the pelvis by pushing slightly with the hands without lifting the head or the back and return to the initial position.

ATTENTON: Slow down the descent as much as possible and do not arch your back when the pelvis descends.

Tips

  1. When performing the pelvic lift, breathe in as you raise your pelvis and breathe out as you lower it.

Variants

  • You can add difficulty by performing the exercise suspended from a pull-up bar by rolling your pelvis so that your knees touch your chest and even more difficult by keeping your legs straight and touching the pull-up bar with your feet.
  • You can perform the pelvic lift exercise by trying to bring your knees towards your chest or upwards.
